The inimitable Euan Whitmore, aided and abetted by Jock Ferguson and Myself, hammer out a Scots Classics.
This track is sampled from a track on the album 'Pictish Soul'.
The lyric...
Why?
Well... As previously discussed Dundee were on the crest of an Italian wave at that point.. it seemed fitting to juxtaposition the Scottish and Italian cultures...
...and it was a laugh !

Lookit the sehz, Lookit the sehz, Lookit the sehz o' thae pehs eh sez.
Lookit the sehz, Lookit the sehz, Lookit the sehz o' thae pehs. E'h!
GLOSSARY:
Tatties and Neeps - Potatoes and Turnips
Lookit the sehz o' thae pehs eh sez - Look at the size of those pies, I said.
E'h! - Yes.
It is a unique feature of Dundonian dialect that the gutteral sound "eh", (pronounced as the 'E' in the word Step), is used for at least four seperate and distinct meanings.
The phrase:
"E'h, eh eh't it a'!" means "Yes, I ate it all!"
and the phrase
"E'h, eh've got a sare eh!" means "Yes, I have a sore eye!"
